Municipalities are required by the province to approve Budgets and set both Commercial and
Non-Commercial tax rates by March 31 st each year. All municipalities in PEI have a fiscal year
from April 1 st to March 31 st

The following budgets are approved each year: 

​

  • Town Operating Budgets including Gateway Arena

  • Sewer Utility

  • Water Utility

  • One Year Capital Budget

  • Five Year Capital Budget
